Statement Update for G20 April Meetings
Saudi G20 Presidency
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, March 19, 2020
[pdf]
The Saudi G20 Presidency is continuing necessary precautionary measures and has put in place new arrangements for April meetings to ensure important discussions continue to take place and efforts are focused on the global response to COVID-19.
Some meetings will be postponed, and some will be held virtually. The Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting will be held virtually on April 15. Both the Health Ministers meeting and the third Health Working Group meeting will be held virtually. Further meeting details are available on www.g20.org.
The G20 is working closely with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Saudi Ministry of Health given the rapidly changing circumstances around COVID-19, and we will continue to evaluate the status of all meetings. Our number one priority is the health and wellbeing of our guests, or staff and the people of Saudi Arabia Further information about the G20 Events Calendar, can be found at: www.g20.org/en/G20/Pages/events.aspx
