G20 Education Ministers Will Meet to Promote Education Continuity

The current pandemic has led to the closure of educational institutions worldwide due to physical distancing measures implemented to limit the spread of COVID-19. The G20 Education Ministers will meet to discuss measures taken to mitigate the impact of the current pandemic in an Extraordinary Meeting on June 27, 2020. Topics to be discussed include experiences in mitigating the impact of COVID-19, and lessons learned to ensure continuity and build resilience into education systems.
The G20 Presidency will continue to work actively with all G20 members, invited countries and regional and international organizations to support global education systems.
